On foot - By the LYCIAN WAY
Bezirgan is on the section between Kalkan and Kas, and we are about three minutes' walk off the signposted Lycian Way.

Bus
From Antalya every hour to Kalkan, journey approx 5 hrs. Several buses a day to Elmali, then the Kinik bus to Bezirgan, journey 3-and-a-half hours.
From Fethiye every hour to Kalkan, journey approx 2 hrs
From Istanbul direct to Kalkan once a day, journey approx 15 hrs

Car
From Antalya
The mountain road is the best except during bad weather in winter, when we would recommend the coast road.
200km, approx 3 hrs drive
Leave the airport, and follow the signs for DENIZLI or BURDUR or OTOGAR (otogar is Bus Station, and it's well-signed).
After about 6km you reach a large roundabout which comprises a huge water fountain; turn right, still signed DENIZLI or BURDUR and OTOGAR. A couple of kms further on, the next roundabout has a statue of Ataturk on a horse; again turn right, still signed DENIZLI or BURDUR and OTOGAR.
Just ahead you will pass the otogar (bus station) on your left. Keep straight on. Now follow the signs for DENIZLI and KORKUTELI; about 4km further on the road divides, turn LEFT, signed KORKUTELI and ELMALI.
Once you reach KORKUTELI, (about an hour), follow the signs for ELMALI.
Immediately before Elmali, there is a roundabout. Take the KAS road. Drive 3 km, turn right, signposted KAS. After 30 mins, pass the village of GOMBE; there is a new huge dam on your right. Now follow the signs for KALKAN.
Pass through the village of SUTLEGEN. Drive about 30 mins, and as you drive downhill, pass a sign on your right saying "Kalkan 22km". BEZIRGAN now faces you at the bottom of the hill. At the foot of the hill, turn right, signposted BEZIRGAN and OWLSLAND. Drive 1 km, turn right, signed OWLSLAND, and we're on your right.

By the coast road, 260 km, approx 4hrs drive
Follow the coast road through FINIKE AND KAS. As you approach KALKAN, don't turn left down into the town centre, go straight ahead, signed FETHIYE. Pass the petrol station. After about 1km, as the road climbs, there is a "Y" junction. Ignoring the left turn for Fethiye, go straight ahead, signposted SUTLEGEN and ELMALI. On your left is a glazier's, a huge new red-painted building. Continue up the hill for 10 km, turn left at the "T" junction, signposted ELMALI. After the crest of the hill, the road starts to drop, BEZIRGAN is now on your left. Continue downhill, the road does a dog-leg at the bottom. Continue, and you are driving two sides of a square round Bezirgan. Just before the road starts to climb again, turn left, signposted BEZIRGAN and OWLSLAND. Drive 1 km, turn right, signed OWLSLAND, and we're on your right.

From Dalaman and Fethiye
Dalaman : 160 km, approx 2hr 30mins. Fethiye: 95 km, approx 1 hr 30mins drive
From Dalaman, follow the signs for FETHIYE. From Fethiye, follow the signs for KALKAN. After about 1 hour, pass through the village of YESILKOY, then AKBEL. This is a village of what used to be called prefabs, and its sign says KALKAN (to confuse you!) As you leave Akbel, the sea and Kalkan are on your right. At the foot of the hill is a "Y" junction, the road to Kalkan goes to the right, you go straight ahead, signposted ELMALI and SUTLEGEN. On your left is a glazier's, a huge new red-painted building.
